FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: wind-driven power plant comprises wind-powered engine self-oriented at wind and electric generator joined with it by means of transmission. Power plant wind-powered engine is arranged in the form of at least one rectangular sail, which is movably fixed by shear bolts on cranks of two crankshafts equidistant from power axis and sitting in support-thrust bearings of beams. Rotation of crankshafts and beams is synchronised by planetary gear by rolling of central wheel, angular position of which is determined by weather vane so that angular position of crankshafts, beam planes, sail and wind direction are interrelated, rotation torques are summed up, and useful load is removed from the other central wheel as differential mechanism. Electric generator used is asynchronised synchronous machine.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of transformation at increase of wind energy application efficiency factor, provision of guaranteed power supply of domestic loads within the range of power plant rated energy intensity.
