FIELD: radio communication.
SUBSTANCE: method and device for amplitude-manipulated and amplitude-modulated (AM) signals demodulation use a three-pole non-linear element connected in between the radio-frequency AM-signal source and quadrupole, or between quadrupole and a high-frequency load connected in a common-emitter, common-base or common collector circuit. The aforesaid quadrupole is built around, at least, three resistive dipoles their parameters being selected proceeding from provision for preset magnitudes of the demodulator transmission factor for two states of the said non-linear element defined by two extreme magnitudes of the input AM-signal level.
EFFECT: provision for preset demodulator transmission factor magnitudes.
