DIAGNOSTICS METHOD FOR RESPIRATORY DISTRESS SYNDROME IN NEWBORN Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2342667 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely perinatology and neonatology, and refers to diagnostics method for respiratory distress syndrome in newborn. The method consists in medium-molecular peptides examination in newborn nasopharyngeal aspirate supernatant. The peptides levels between 0.386 and 0.574 optical density units (ODU) correspond to early stage of non-infection etiology respiratory distress syndrome, values between 0.575 and 0.725 ODU are observed at early stage of respiratory distress syndrome, caused by intrauterine influenza virus A (H3N2) infection, values between 0.726 and 0.854 ODE are observed at early stage of respiratory distress syndrome, caused by intrauterine virus A (H3N2) infection, associated with Staphylococcus aureus.

EFFECT: recognising respiratory distress syndrome of different etiology in early stage of its development.
