FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: concentration of medium molecular peptides in supernatant part of biological fluid of nasopharyngeal aspirate is analysed. If its concentration equals 0.792-0.822 units of optic density, favourable outcome in newborn babies with cerebral ischemia of severe degree is predicted, and if concentration equals 0.823-0.853 units of optic density, lethal outcome in newborn babies with cerebral ischemia of severe degree is predicted.
EFFECT: possibility of predicting lethal outcome in newborn babies in case of cerebral ischemia of severe degree.
