FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: products are made from exceptionally thin-walled multi-layer tubular billets, mostly from titanium alloys. Preliminary corrugations are sequentially shaped by expanding with internal pressure of elastic medium in process of axial displacement of tubular billet free end. Forced fit of preliminary corrugations due to their approaching in axial direction is done with certain angles of taper at the top and radiuses at the base, which are determined according to dependences given in formula. Further forced fit of preliminary corrugations is performed until corrugations obtain omega-shaped form with certain radiuses at the base and top.
EFFECT: higher quality of stamped bellows due to reduction of rejection in processing.
