SUBSTANCE: device for processing of precious stones contains abrading tool, rotating support for holding and rotation of abrading tool, balancing mechanism and takeoff mechanism for takeoff of abrading tool from rotating support. Balancing mechanism facilitates balancing of abrading tool and rotating support by means of abrading tool displacement along the surface of rotating support. At that balancing mechanism is arranged providing balancing of abrading tool and rotating support without addition of balancing weights. Besides, invention description provides various versions of device for processing of precious stones, abrading tool and actuator balancing mechanism, and also method for actuator balancing and method for installation and replacement of abrading tool.
EFFECT: simplicity of abrading tool installation and replacement, facilitation of its balancing.
