FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed inventions relate to measurement equipment and can be used in balancing equipment, namely for rotor balancing. Consecutive indexing tool for balancing check includes a rotor holder surface located on the rotor being checked, which contains kinematic connecting elements of the rotor holder, and a receiving device of the rotor holder, with that, the receiving device of the rotor holder includes the corresponding kinematic connecting elements of the receiving device of the rotor holder. The rotor holder surface can be machined on the rotor surface or that provided on a separate rotor holder provisionally attached to the rotor. The rotor holder surface and the receiving device of the rotor holder are configured to provide connection at consecutive indexing, which allows easily indexing the rotor in any of several indexing positions to check for imbalance in the balancing test device. The method involves use of the above consecutive indexing tool for balancing check.

EFFECT: tool allows performing several balancing cycles without any special efforts necessary for repeated consecutive indexing of the rotor.
