FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine-tool may be used in different branches of national economy for superprecision machining of thin plates by cutting. Machine-tool has frame with two vertical posts positioned opposite to each other and table with rotating faceplate arranged between posts. Facilities for installation and fixing of articles being machined are represented by changeable plate positioned on base surface of faceplate with vacuum chucks built-in eccentrically relative to axis of faceplate rotation. Two independently controlled spindles for installation of grinding wheels are mounted for reciprocating motion with respect to posts across surface being machined. Each spindle is coupled kinematically to crosspiece rigidly connected to vertical posts through axle installed for reciprocation and lever mounted on said axle for limited turning along machined surface together with spindle. The latter is positioned in zone of respective lever vacant end for reciprocating micromotion across machined surface by means of independent micromotion drive connected to transducer of active check of article machined surface. Use of said construction ensures elimination of temperature, power and other errors. EFFECT: higher quality of machined surface. 3 cl, 3 dwg
