FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: supersonic axisymmetric air intake comprises central body with surfaces in the form of initial conical and further rotary surfaces, along which captured supersonic flow is compressed and braked, and annular channel. Annular channel is formed between surface of central body and internal surface of shell, starting from its front edge, and comprising confusor section to air intake neck, the neck itself and further diffuser section. Central body rotation surface, at least, in area of internal channel neck, is arranged with long slots that are evenly distributed along its circumference, and their lateral dimension is adjusted with the possibility of full or partial opening - closing, thus, long slot ducts are created that increase passage areas of annular channel in the neck area. According to the second section, rotation surfaces of central body and shell, at least, in area of internal channel neck, are arranged with long slots evenly distributed along their circumference. Long slots of central body and shell rotation surface are arranged with the possibility of their either joint or separate adjustment.
EFFECT: increases possibility of axisymmetric air intake start-up and operation modes control in started condition, and also increases its efficiency by overflow, drain or forced suction of border layer.
