FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns metallurgy field. Particularly it concerns recuperators of open little-oxidising heating furnaces for metal production, for instance, wire and can be used at metallurgical and machine works. For heating temperature equalisation of primary air and, respectively, improving of metal production and productivity improvement of furnace, recuperator contains even quantity of U-shaped tubes, but not less than four, paired through one tube by external nozzles with flanges at ends, at that heated air from outlet branch of the first U-shaped tube is fed through the nozzle into supplying branch of the third U-shaped tube, and heated air from outlet branch of the second U-shaped tube is fed into supplying branch of the fourth U-shaped tube, at that heated air from outlet branches of the third and fourth U-shaped tubes is independently separated by right and left side walls of furnace and it is fed to burners of these sides.
EFFECT: equalisation of primary air heating temperature and, respectively, improving of metal production and furnace productivity improvement.
