FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermal physics. The device includes radiation heater with active area containing measuring cell with spring-loaded wire contacts comprising in-between the dielectric sample not exceeding 2 mm, sample resistance tester, thermoelectromotive tester of measuring cell and wattmeter for DC power of heater. Radiation heater is fed through rectifier for inductive pickup elimination to measuring cell with current power regulated with transformer and measured by wattmeter. Measurements taken are accompanied with gradual increase of current power in heater. Melting and/or softening temperature of the sample is regulated by heater power consumption accompanying jumping of sample electric resistance or measuring cell thermoelectromotive.
EFFECT: higher testing accuracy.
