SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for optimising reverberation time in transfer of sound signals. In compliance with proposed invention, starting signal is supplemented with the Gilbert-matching signal, and then the starting signal envelope is isolated to make a subsignal by determining square root of the sum of squares of every Gilbert-matching signal of a pair. Then, aforesaid envelope is size-limited, inverted, added to constant voltage and multiplied by the starting signal integrated envelope. Now, it is multiplied by the reverberator output signal, the resulted product is rescaled and added to delayed starting signal to produce output signal.
EFFECT: improved quality of sound signals, including increase of legibility of voice signals.
