FIELD: agricultural industry.

SUBSTANCE: growing method of safflower used as green fodder includes basic deep soil treatment, pre-sowing surface treatment, sowing, post emergence inter-row treatments and cropping of green vegetative mass used as green fodder. At that during early-spring period there performed are combined safflower and sunflower sowings. Every two rows of safflower in wide-space sowings are combined with one row of sunflower. During mowing and crushing of the crop to be changed into green mass, solution of natural mineral bischofite with density of 1.1-1.3 t/m3, and water in the ratio 1:(2-4) in quantity of 100-200 l per a tonne of a raw green mass, is used as mineral feeding. In growing method of safflower used as silage, during early-spring period there performed are combined safflower and sunflower sowings. Every row of safflower is combined with two rows of sunflower. During mowing and crushing of the crop to be changed into silage mass, saline solution of natural mineral bischofite with density of 1.1-1.3 t/m3, and in quantity of 5.0-10.0 l per a tonne of green mass is used as mineral feeding.

EFFECT: improving the quality of fodder owing to protein and carotene preservation.
