FIELD: agricultural industry.
SUBSTANCE: leaf analysis of the cherry or sweet cherry type being studied is made during active period of leaf growing by determining the quantitative content of magnesium, calcium, caffeic and amber acids in leaves. Resistance of the types to coccomycosis depends on a certain ratio of those compounds.
EFFECT: reducing the time required for determining infection-resistant types, and improving method reliability owing to objective data on physiological state of the type being studied.
