FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for growing seedlings of embryos of fruit crops, which involves sampling plant material in a garden, sterilization of the material: fruit with a stem, an embryo, a seed, growing an ovary in a culture in vitro with three times washing with sterile water together with the stem, placing it in a nutrient medium, culturing in vitro and carrying out the ex vitro stage, wherein fruits of Cerasus Mill. varieties are used as plant material, germs of Cerasus Mill. varieties are cultivated in vitro in 2 stages: at stage I for additional development, embryos are cultured from 19 day after fertilization in vitro in fruits with a stem, which is placed in a nutrient medium of Nitsch, Azahira, Chaturvedi or Choudhary without contact of the fruit with the nutrient medium and maintained in a light hall for 21-23 days, and at stage II, a stone is removed from the ripened fruit, scarified and the embryo is cultured in vitro on the Murashige and Skoog agar medium.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase output of viable seedlings from culture of germs in vitro of hybrids of Cerasus Mill, both from intra- and interspecific crosses, and reduction of development time to one month.
