FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns methods of dry or wet reduction of granular and pelleted materials in centrifugal mill. Method of granular material reduction in centrifugal mill involves granular material feed into the central part of mill rotor and final product discharge in the central zone of mill case. In the grinding zone a self-reduction zone is created by applying pressure to the material. Pressure is produced by centrifugal forces during rotor rotation and by internal material shift due to its mechanical drag in peripheral case zone. Final product is discharged due to produced material pressure.
EFFECT: achievement of granular material reduction degree of up to 15 micron.
