FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to locking mechanisms and may be used in rim and cut-in lock designs to be mounted on single-leaf doors. The lock includes housing with outlet and locking bar inside, box-type strike plate with outlets and spring-loaded dual-arm lever installed in the strike plate so that it can rotate in locking bar movement plane and interact with locking bar by one of the levers. The lock consists also of a locking bar drive mechanism in the form of key, which can rotate in vertical plane coinciding with locking bar movement plane. The second lever of the dual-arm lever can interact with slider through the second opening made in the lock housing. The slider is installed parallel to locking bar so that it can move horizontally. The slider is also spring-loaded in horizontal plane with regard to rear side of the lock housing. There is a projection on the rear side of housing to interact with retaining groove made on the side cylindrical generatrix of the key surface. The key is inserted between locking bar and the above mentioned slider. There is a deepening on the horizontal surface of locking bar from the upper side of housing, which can interact with spring-loaded latch in vertical plane. The latch is fixed to the upper side of the housing.
EFFECT: prevention of key removal from the lock before locking operation.
