FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: helicopter radar complex contains a radar station, consisting of two scanning antenna array, rotating transition, receiver, basic frequency generator, onboard computational facility. Difference from the prototype is the fact that the radar station additionally contains two power output amplifiers, a second rotating transition, a second receiver, homing on the elevation angle, homing on azimuth, moreover on all the blocks of the radar station, apart from the onboard computational facility, placed above the main rotor head of the helicopter. Also on the helicopter radar complex is placed an apparatus for friend or for identification, including an active phased antenna array of ultra high frequency waves of the right fender, an active phased antenna array of ultra high frequency waves of the left fender, receiving-issuing block, receiving block, and also a specialised digital computer.
EFFECT: enhancing helicopter radar.
