FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by creation of a two-range radar station at use of a millimetre wave band, and a UHF-band radar channel. Optical axes of diagrams of two bands are integrated in an antenna. Subsequent operation of channels in two bands provides for minimum time of detection and determination of target coordinates with high accuracy in a broad azimuth sector, which is important at tactical activities of a helicopter.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and quick action of detection and determination of target coordinates.
