SUBSTANCE: multiband helicopter radar system includes antenna systems, a driving generator a special-purpose digital computer, an interrogator-responder unit, wherein the antenna systems are in form of a Ka waver range slot antenna array, an X wave range slot antenna array, as well as an L wave band phased antenna array, configured to solve the problem of state target identification and detection in radar mode, wherein the multiband helicopter radar system includes an interrogation/radar mode switch, a Ka wave range transceiving module, an X wave range transceiving module, an L wave range transceiving module, a low-frequency receiving device with an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) and an antenna drive with electromechanical beam stabilisation.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities, high accuracy of measuring coordinates and probability of target detection, shorter time for scanning airspace with increase in field of view on the elevation angle, high electromagnetic stability of the multiband helicopter radar system.
