NON-LINEAR METHOD OF PRELIMINARY CODING FOR DIGITAL BROADCAST CHANNEL Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H01L25/03

Abstract RU 2344512 C2

FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: in digital transfer of messages in broadcast channel (BC), multiple user signals are transferred synchronously and with match by frequency from central transmitting station to multiple decentralised receiving stations that are not related to each other. By means of preliminary processing of signals on transmitting side, with knowledge of all user signals and current conditions of transfer, common transmitted signal is generated, which provides individual reception without effect of noises. Occurring signals of mutual noises are taken into account. Based on module arithmetic, transmission channel is exposed to incomplete compensation of distortions and virtually sectioned so that user signals (STk) are periodically continued, selected by minimum transmitted power and exposed to linear preliminary compensation, and at that remaining residual mutual noises between user signals (STk) may accept specific values from previously specified set of values. At that stock of values may be selected so that signals of mutual noises from other users are reflected only on available periodical continuation, and thereby may be excluded on transmitting side due to decision making on module or used, when necessary.

EFFECT: higher noise-immunity.
