FIELD: communications engineering; multiple-input and multiple-output communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for data processing in sequential deletion receiver is used for processing signals received and includes definite number of iterations to obtain decoded data streams. Input (for instance, received) signals for each iteration are processed to obtain one or more character streams. One of character streams is chosen and processed to produce decoded data stream. Noise associated with decoded data stream is eliminated (that is, deleted) from input signals submitted for next iteration. Channel characteristics are evaluated and conveyed to transmitting device and used for pre-transmission adjustment (adaptation) of data processing procedure (for instance, coding, modulating, and the like).
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics including enhanced throughput capacity.
