FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric connector (1) namely for data transmission networks (16) through which data devices (18, 19, 20) are connected by data transmission lines (7, 17); the connector comprises at least two device contacts (5) on data device side, at least one mains socket contact (8) on data transmission line side and transformer (13) connected between at least two device contacts (5) and at least one mains socket contact (8). According to the present invention the transformer (13) combines flow of energies and data (D+E) which is resented in at least one mains socket contact (8) with energy flow (E) at one device contact (5) and at least with one data flow (D, D+E) on the other device contact (5).
EFFECT: network throughput can be used more effectively, decreasing amount of wires in data transmission line and reducing material and mounting cost.
