FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device for processing triple-core round armoured cable comprises following units mounted at the base frame sequentially and according to the processing procedure: units for unreeling, cutting the protective sheath, removing the protective sheath by holed cone, cutting and removing plastic insulation, crushing the plastic insulation with driven blade knife set in the unit and having central hole for copper cores, the device also comprises unit of the receiving device for reeling and even laying of the copper cores; drawing roller and friction mechanisms are used to synchronise speed of the cable moving through all the device units. The device additionally comprises unit for levelling profile of the cable protective sheath, cone with holes copying the cable twisting angle ϕ is used for removing the protective sheath, three wedge knives with central hole passage for the copper cores are used for cutting and removing the plastic insulation of the cable cores.

EFFECT: improving quality of processing triple-core round armoured cable with broken protective sheath profile and distorted plastic insulation without mechanical damage to copper core, possibility of core reutilisation in manufacturing procedures.
