FIELD: cables.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sealed power cables. Electric cable is made by twisting insulated current-conducting cores around central element, with simultaneous tight filling of central inter-core space with polymer filler, as well as application of layers of at least inner and outer shells outside of insulated or screened insulated conductors. Synthetic thread or polymer bundle is used as central element, current-conducting core sealed in longitudinal direction is used, at that, voids of the central inter-core space in the manufactured cable are eliminated by means of its sealing due to external deformation-free calibration in the process of drawing insulated current-conducting cores together with the central element through the forming gauge with their simultaneous twisting around the central element. Before calibration, the central element and each current-conducting core are separately directed to a distribution socket, and a thermoplastic polymer melt is applied on the central element with subsequent cooling before winding the manufactured cable on a rotating receiving device.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase quality of cable safety and reliability.
