FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: proposed UHF-treatment method consists in exposing the seeds to a low intensity (10-8-10-10 W/m2) UHF radiation (frequency = 2,400-2,580 MHz) which corresponds to natural non-thermal intensity. Exposure time varies from 6 h to 12 h depending on the crop species. The treatment can be performed at daytime or night-time in the continuous or discontinuous mode.

EFFECT: improvement of the crops yielding capacities and optimisation of bioindustrial production efficiency; improvement of the seeds germinating capacity and energy.
