FIELD: electricity; processes.
SUBSTANCE: corrosion-resistant steel rings are welded to internal sides of pipe ends. The pipes are connected by pulse-arc welding with pulse current flow duration Cp=230...270 ms and inter-pulse current flow duration Ci=240...280 ms. The austenitic electrodes with chemical content being close to corrosion-resistant steel are used for welding.
EFFECT: simple method, improved quality of double-layer pipes welding, safe-keeping of enameled coating at the internal surface of pipes and protection of weld joints from corrosion.
