FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method of electroarc facing of corrosion-preventive coating with modulated current and may be used in production of equipment from austenite chromium-nickel steels, which is intended for processing of radiated nuclear fuel, and also for equipment of chemical industry. Facing of coating is carried out with application of additional activating current pulse onto arc gap. Application of additional activating current pulse is performed directly prior to working pulse after passage of pause current with amplitude of 250-300 A and duration of 0.001-0.0015 sec. Besides, facing is carried out with melting electrode with diameter of up to 4 mm.
EFFECT: preparation of finely dispersed coating of high corrosion resistance.
