SUBSTANCE: curable compound consists of: hydrating composition containing non-organic water-reactive ingredients; common lime (at least 13 wt %), a cementing composition (at least 5 wt %) which components, when taking up water, generate ettringite; organic polymeric material water emulsion or dispersible organic polymeric material water. One provides for the ratio of solid polymeric material weight to the aggregate weight of water-reactive ingredients to be within the range from 0.5:1 to 10:1 (1:1 - 4:1 preferably). The method of applying the compound onto a surface specifies both preparation of the curable compound in question and the application proper. This type coatings are used for retention of rock masses as well as for waterproofing.
