FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: geopolymer composition, characterized by controlled setting time, contains: at least one reactive aluminosilicate; at least one solution of the moderator in water; at least one alkaline silicate activator solution. At least one moderator is a soluble metal salt that hydrolyses in an alkaline solution and co-precipitates the silicate components present in the alkaline silicate activator solution and is selected from the following group: anhydrous barium chloride, barium chloride dihydrate, barium nitrate, barium nitrite and barium metaborate monohydrate. At least one said retarder solution is combined with at least one said alkaline silicate activator solution prior to mixing with at least one said reactive aluminosilicate. At least one specified retarder is used in an amount of from 0.5 to 10% by weight when calculating the weight of the binder.

EFFECT: controlling the setting time of geopolymer materials for the possibility of transportation and laying.
