FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glazed artificial stone materials and items: concrete, calcareous - sandy, ceramic and other. Method of glazing of artificial stone materials and items includes heating of their surface to temperature 100°C lower than work burning temperature, application on hot surface of second layer of glaze, burning. On hot surface of first glaze layer, applied is coloured glass crumb, for which temperature at which softening begins, is 200°C lower than work burning temperature.
EFFECT: extension of assortment of glazed ceramic items.
