FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glazed artificial stone materials and items: concrete, calcareous - sandy, ceramic and other. Method of glazing of artificial stone materials and items includes heating of their surfaces to temperature, which does not exceed temperature of glaze burning, application on hot surface layer of transparent glaze, burning. Before applying layer of glaze, coloured glass crumb with temperature of softening beginning 100-150°C lower than temperature of items surface, is applied on hot item surface.
EFFECT: extension of assortment of glazed ceramic items.
