FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of extracting polysiloxane-polycarbonate (PS-PC) from methylene chloride a solution. A method of continuous extraction of polysiloxane-polycarbonate from its 5-15%-solution in methylene chloride by ejection with the help of de-ionised cold water to the temperature of 30°C in a pulse mode is described at a volumetric copolymer-to-water ratio 1:(5-160). The proposed method comprises also passing the emulsion of the aforesaid copolymer solution of the oil-water type through a water layer with the temperature of 70 to 90°C for evaporation of methylene chloride with subsequent filtration of the formed PS-PC suspension and drying at 70 to 100°C in inert current or vacuum up to powder-like state of the aforesaid copolymer.
EFFECT: production of PS-PC with solvent content in product mass not exceeding 0,004 % without deterioration of copolymer properties.
