FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to gerotor mechanisms of screw downhole motor for drilling of oil and gas wells and may also be used in screw pumps for oil production and fluid pumping. Gerotor machine comprises gerotor mechanism that contains stator (1) with internal spiral teeth, rotor (2) with external spiral teeth, number of which is less by one than number of internal spiral teeth of stator (1). Rotor (2) of gerotor mechanism is separated into several modules at termination of spiral lines T2 steps. Modules (3) and (4) are coaxially combined by means of adapter (5). Axis is displaced at angle ϕ at termination of T2 step of spiral lines relative to static stator, and relative to axis of module O1O2 it is turned at angle ϕ1. Angles ϕ and ϕ1 are determined by the following expression: where Z1 Z2 - number of stator and rotor teeth.
EFFECT: extension of gerotor machine service life, preservation of its power characteristics with worn out working elements (RO), by design modification of gerotor mechanism.
