FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrogen power engineering, to accumulation and storage of hydrogen now used in chemical, transport mechanical engineering and others industries. The capacity for storage of hydrogen consists of a tight casing, a hydrogen inlet and outlet manifold, a heater and a hydrogen filler-accumulator made from aerogel and arranged inside the said casing. The aforesaid hydrogen filler-accumulator is furnished with hollow channels communicating with hydrogen inlet and outlet manifold and made up of hollow capillaries.
EFFECT: increase in hydrogen mass content, simpler design and faster charge-discharge processes.
