FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is mainly used in metallurgy for waste gas cooling. The invention objective is to cool waste gases without their dilution with air. According to the invention, the convective waste heat exchanger contains enclosure, heat-exchanging pipe in the enclosure, heat-exchange nozzles and separating partitions. In addition each heat-exchange nozzle is capped from one side. There are holes in heat-exchange pipe and corresponding heat exchange nozzle being inside the heat-exchange pipe is fixed to the heat-exchange pipe wall by its uncapped end. There is a separating partition inside each heat-exchange nozzle, which separates inner space of the heat-exchange nozzle into two longitudinal parts. Besides the above specified partition is installed so that it form clearance between the capped end of the heat-exchange nozzle and partition end surface directed to the side of heat-exchange nozzle capped end. The opposite side of partition adjoins the enclosure wall.
EFFECT: load to gas-cleaning equipment is reduced and obstacles in waste gases transfer way are minimised; easy cleaning of inner space in waste heat exchanger and simple waste heat exchanger design.
