FIELD: heating, drying.

SUBSTANCE: invention deals with the bulk material drying technologies and may be used in light, food, chemical industries and agriculture. Automatic control method of bulk materials drying in drum-type drier with cyclone and spiral adapter includes furnace gas temperature measuring in furnace, drying agent temperature setting by changing the amount of plenum atmospheric air in stirring chamber before cyclone and spiral adapter. The method also provides for measuring initial humidity of the bulk material and controlling of the supplied material amount based on the measured humidity value and drying agent temperature. After that according to the method the material humidity and drying agent temperature values are set for cyclone and spiral adapter outlet. The above values are characteristic for fire rating in drum-type drier. Then drying agent temperature and bulk material humidity is measured after the cyclone and spiral adapter. So if values are different from the preset values, furnace gas temperature is adjusted by natural gas and air flow rate changing for burning. The bulk material flow rate and drying agent temperature before and after cyclone and spiral adapter are adjusted by changing plenum atmospheric air amount, if air temperature is measured and recorded.

EFFECT: improvement of bulk material drying control quality while ensuring preset final humidity of dried material and fire safety in drum-type drier with cyclone and spiral adapter.
