FIELD: wood- working industry; manufacture of wood particle boards. SUBSTANCE: method consists in setting the final moisture content and temperature parameter characterizing the degree of fire hazard, measuring the flue gas temperature, consumption of starting material, moisture content of starting material, control of flow rate of starting material and flue gas temperature, calculation of estimated magnitudes of final moisture content and temperature parameters by means of mathematical models; measurement of actual magnitude of final moisture content and temperature parameter characterizing the degree of fire hazard; comparison of estimated and actual magnitudes; on bases of this comparison, decision is taken pertaining to adequacy of models and according to the results obtained, control action is formed. Temperature of small particles of wood at drum outlet is taken as temperature parameter characterizing the degree of fire hazard. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
