FIELD: weaponry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand guns, in particular, to fast-to-detach rests to be attached to the gun. Hand gun rest comprises a basis representing a cylinder with a lug at the cylinder top and blind holes arranged in pairs and intended for supports, the supports with the sliding racks fitted therein, the rack height adjustment elements and a spring device designed to lock the aforesaid supports at different positions relative to the aforesaid basis. The spring device is furnished with two deep glass-like thrust bearings suspended on pins, and a guide core. The aforesaid rack height adjustment device represents expansion springs furnished with clamps and jointing the sliding racks to the supports. Note that the aforesaid expansion springs are fitted inside the lengthwise slot supports furnished with side inclined pockets interacting with the aforesaid clamps.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of hits, ease of operation and fast changing of rest positions.
