FIELD: physics, measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns field of railway transportation and is intended for examination of dynamic processes in tractive drive unit of the locomotive with electricity transmission. Device for modelling of the specified dynamic processes contains the tractive electromotor, which arbour is kinematically related to the wheel pair leaning against skating rinks. Skating rinks are located coaxially and related one to another with the help of a slip clutch, and are also kinematically joined to a flywheel simulating mass of a train, and the loading car simulating tractive loading. Thus contact surfaces of wheels of a wheel pair and skating rinks in the plane of section transiting through axes of a wheel pair and skating rinks, are executed on radiuses accordingly and which are spotted by relations and where - radius of a modelled head of a natural rail in a contact point, - radius of a modelled natural wheel of the locomotive, and - radiuses of a wheel of a wheel pair and a device skating rink.
EFFECT: increase of accuracy of modelling of dynamic processes in tractive drive unit of the locomotive and, in particular, process of auto-oscillations of drive unit together with wheel pair.
