FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: test bench consists of roller interacting with flange and surface of wheel rolling, of device for wheel pair rotation and braking and of loading device. The loading device consists of independent oil stations with hydraulic distributors, of hydraulic cylinders with rods, on ends of which there are set wedge stops resting on wedge surfaces of rollers holders.
EFFECT: evaluation of strength and resource properties of wheel pairs under conditions of approach of wheel pairs test to real loads effecting wheel pair both on straight sections of railroad and on curvilinear sections with various radius.
