FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: bench for simulation of dynamic processes in the traction drive of locomotive with power transmission comprises a diesel generating unit with a frequency converter, electric motor, the armature shaft of which is frictionally connected to the flywheel shaft, simulating the train mass, by means of wheel pair with wheels of various diameters, an electrical load machine, the armature shaft of which is connected to the flywheel shaft. The flywheel is fitted with a band from frictional material enclosing its external surface, connected with the electromagnet armature of the loading device, controlled by the system comprising the electric motor moment sensors and the resistance, comparator, actuator, switch, time set unit, current source, current setpoint, rotation sensor. Change of flywheel rotation resistance moment results in change of operating mode of the drive, origin of slippage and, as a sequence, to self-sustained oscillations.
EFFECT: possibility to identify zones of slippage and conditions of auto-oscillations at simulation of various profiles of railway path.
