SUBSTANCE: method is intended for express determination of the content of nicotine in fresh-cut leaves of tobacco and realisation of prediction of its quantity in raw materials, and can be used for the operative control of the content of nicotine on the relative exponents, preferentially in selection operation. In an offered expedient batch of analysed material take from fresh-cut tobacco leaves. Extraction of the sample is performed using a solution of Dragendorf chemical agent. The subsequent titration is carried out on one drop of the 6% silicowolframic acid solution (SWA). Volume of each drop prestressly spot, and quantity of drops consider. Thus titration consider finished at the full disappearance of orange-red colouring of a filtering paper. The nicotine content in the analysed sample judge on SWA volume which has gone on titration which spot under the formula: Vswa=V'*N, where Vswa - total amount of SWA solution which has gone on titration, ml; V' - volume of one SWA drop of a used pipette, ml; N - number of SWA drops which has gone on the full interlinking of nicotine, pieces.

EFFECT: pinch of accuracy and speed of definition of the content of nicotine in fresh-cut tobacco leaves at comparative definitions on tobacco grades, picking, and degrees of maturity of leaves.
