FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly ophthalmology, and applied to recurrence risk prediction of herpes-associated eye diseases. IgG antibodies are detected in blood serum to non-structure regulatory antigens of Herpes simplex virus type I, Herpes simplex virus type II, or cytomegalovirus. If there are IgG antibodies to any of these viruses non-structure regulatory antigens, and their level exceed normal two or more times, risk of recurrence is predicted.
EFFECT: providing timely risk prediction of herpes-associated eye diseases recurrence and administration of therapy needed.
