SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology. In order to predict course of adenoviral keratoconjunctivitis, levels of IgG-, IgA-, IgM-antibodies to causative agents of ophthalmotropic persisting infections: type 1 and 2 herpes simplex virus, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, toxoplasma, mycoplasma gominis, ureaplasma urealyticum, mycobacteria tuberculosis. If threshold value of at least one type of antibodies is exceeded 2 and more times to at least one of causative agents, prolonged or torpid course is predicted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict character of course of adenoviral keratoconjunctivitis.
