FIELD: physics, communication.
SUBSTANCE: described are ordering information transfer procedures for enabling effective reception of separate data flows. Base station can transfer data flow sets through data channel (or multiplexer logical channel (MLC)) sets. MLC can be transferred during various time intervals and at various frequency subranges. Frequency-time position of each MLC can vary over time. Ordering information specifies frequency-time position of each MLC, and can be transferred as the "combined" and "enclosed" ordering information. The combined ordering information specifies frequency-time position of all MLC and is transferred periodically in each super-frame. The wireless device receives the combined office information, estimates frequency-time position of each MLC of interest and receives each MLC in specified frequency-time position. The enclosed ordering information for each MLC specifies frequency-time position of that MLC in a following super-frame, and is transferred together with MLC payload in current super-frame.
EFFECT: effective data flow reception by wireless device with lowered power consumption.
