TRANSFER OF SERVICE INFORMATION FOR BROADCASTING AND MULTICASTING SERVICES IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H04W4/16

Abstract RU 2360376 C2

FIELD: communications.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a communication system for transferring service information. To transfer service information for broadcasting and multicasting services in a system which uses multiple access wireless communication technology, time intervals are set first, used for OFDM in a super frame. Service information is generated for several streams to be sent in the time intervals, used for OFDM. Service information transfers time intervals and encoding, and modulation, used for streams, and can be given in various forms. Several records can be formed, meant for service information for streams. Service information for streams is processed and multiplexed with time division together with data for streams in the super frame. Information which indicates time intervals used for OFDM in the super frame can be sent separately or included in the service information. An index can be added to each stream, to indicate whether there is any change in the service information for the stream in the next super frame.

EFFECT: more efficient reception of transmission of interest at low power consumption.
