SUBSTANCE: method of determining degree of moisture of mucous membrane of toothless prosthetic bed includes application of filter paper onto section of mucous membrane for certain time, measurement of saliva amount by difference in filter paper weight before and after research. To keep filter paper on toothless prosthetic bed, preliminary made individual mould spoon is used, filter paper is cut out according to size of individual spoon, and paper is fixed in spoon from prosthesis bed side and held on toothless jaw by pressing individual spoon tightly. By difference in weight of individual spoon together with filter paper before and after research, amount of saliva on mucous membrane of toothless prosthetic bed is determined.

EFFECT: quite simple and accurate determining of moisture degree of mucous membrane of toothless prosthetic bed during short time period.
