FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: support surface of operation table contains at least two sections, which can be regulated in their position to each other. At least on one of said sections underlying element is placed. Underlying element for support surface of operation table contains support plate, two elongated side-frames from form-preserving foam plastic and cushion. Side-frames are located along two opposite edges of support plate. Cushion at least partially consists of soft foam plastic and is fitted between two elongated side-frames. Cushion is able to adjoin at least with its outer sides at least partially to respective neighbour side-frame. At least on one side-frame at least one protruding section is made and positioned in such way that it fits into corresponding groove made on outer side of cushion, when it is placed between side-frames.
EFFECT: underlying material is easy to use and at the same time ensuring soft support of patient.
