FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A sterile case for covering at least a portion of an anti-radiation screen provides operator's protection from ionising radiation such as X rays and similar. Said screen of L-shaped horizontal section comprises a front wall and an attached side wall forming or substantially forming an angle with the front wall starting from said side wall. The front wall has two openings for operator's hands. The first opening is made near the angle formed by the front and side walls. The second opening is made on a free border of the front wall and is opened from one side forming thereby an arc-wise or U-horizontal cut. The case is made in the form of one piece comprising two panels - an interior panel and an external panel made to cover at least the interior and external sides of the front wall, respectively on at least a portion of their height under and above the respective openings for operator's hands. Said interior and external panels are coupled by a junction covering at least a portion of the height of the free border of the front wall and having a cut covering the border of said second opening, and each of the interior and external panels has an opening situated on both sides of said first openings. The opening in at least one of said panels is provided with a soft tubular member forming a similarity of a cuff designed for passaging through said first opening in such a way that it closes its border and ensures the aseptics of said opening. The invention ensures simple, fast and effective mounting, and if necessary, the mounting may be performed by one person. After the mounting procedure, this sterile device holds out ideally on the screen and almost is not able to fall off it.

EFFECT: case also ensures effective shutting of the various protected portions.
